Gruene River Tragedy

Like so many other stories here it had been extremely rainy in the river was running at high volume. My friends and I have been looking forward to taking a run down the Gruene River but when we got there were astonished at the flow. We had all carefully planned and packed our coolers so that there would be no weight shifting which meant that we had to stack our six packs on top of each other in proportion and stuff paper in spaces to keep the beer from shifting. I stuck my foot in the water to shove off and realized that this was not going to be a typical run and went back to the car to read gear. Some of my friends said that we shouldn’t take a try because the river was running at a full 30 CFM and our inner tubes might really rock, but I said I’m going for it. In the end of all turned out okay we are able to finish all of our beers without any incident
