I grew up paddling a canoe in creeks, rivers and lakes within driving distance of our North Texas farm. I learned the importance of stewardship, respect, and conservation on these waters. I’ve paddled the polites urban lakes of Dallas and the pristine waters of the Canadian boundary lakes of Quitico Prove coal Park. Water is our lifeline and without protected clean water, we will cease to exist as a race.
