“My” River Runs Through It

My River runs through our neighborhood. It is almost never exactly the same – sometimes boisterous and other times milder – when there isn’t a lot of snow melt or rain recently. It is always wild and beautiful and my dog and I visit it almost every day – every walking-the-dog day. We walk every mild available day and the river is important to the scenery we see. Thank goodness it is clear and clean and untouched by industrial waste – hopefully it will always remain as it is.
