The river is the lifeblood of the world. The river carries the hopes and dreams of all peoples along its currents and through its ripples. The seemingly endless blue facilitates the cycles which feed our communities day in and out. Growing up in the desert, the vitality of the river was the health of the community. Rivers feed the canals which feed our fields and crops. Water from the mountains runs to the rivers, and feeds our aquifers which in turn feed the communities surrounding. All ties of civilization are those that are acquainted heavily with the waters that run freely. The United States is SLOWLY progressing to a mindset of conservation. We are behind the curve as a nation. Change is progress, progress is success, Success is Adaptation.
