Rapid Change

Without a wild and free river like the Salmon River, I never would have been able to feel the rush as the rapids splashed cold water in my face and turned my drift into a roller coaster. The exhilaration and the pride of being able to overcome my fear of moving water would never exist. Respect for my environment would be slow to come. Few things are as beautiful and free as an untamed river, and I have learned much from it.
